Vintage Aircraft Weekend

Historic Flight Foundation, located across the runway from FHC, is pleased to host the Ninth Annual Vintage Aircraft Weekend, September 2nd-4th, 2016. This fun-filled event has become a staple for families and friends in our great community. Join us for food, fun, flying, music, history, inspiration and excitement. Don’t miss the Flying Heritage Collection’s Spitfire and Hurricane as they take to the skies to awe and amaze guests. Vietnam Day
10:00 AM - 5:00 PM

September 10th, Vietnam Day at FHC will bring the 1960's back to life. Don't miss fascinating static displays, fun kids activities, food vendors, a 60's cover band, and the unveiling of FHC's newest artifact! Any guesses on what it is?

Keeping with our 60's theme, come dressed in your grooviest 1960's attire and enter our costume contest!

Flying Tanks Day, Free Fly Day

The Flying Heritage Collection brings out the heavyweights on September 17th, 2016. See the Ilyushin IL-2M3 Shturmovik, the North American B-25 Bomber, and the Republic P-47 Thunderbolt flying through the sky!

Watching the flying demonstration is always free, but why not make the day of it? Museum admission gets you entry for special events and lectures, a free pilots’ autograph signing session, and an up-close look at some of the rarest and most valuable vintage aircraft and vehicles in the world!

Doors open at 10 am, planes fly at noon!

Monster Bash
10:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Get scary close to a multitude of mythical and marvelous machines at the
Flying Heritage Collection’s third annual Monster Bash! Snap a picture with a real monster truck! Examine the famous 30-ton Sherman tank up close!

A collection of big, bad, and burly vehicles will descend on the Flying Heritage Collection at Paine Field on October 8th, from 10 am to 2 pm. All are welcome, but kids under 13 who come in costume get in free! Exhibitors will hand out treats to attendees while supplies last.

Food options will be on hand to allow you to stay all day and explore the FHC’s exhibits and a sensational squadron of ultra-rare vintage aircraft and vehicles.
